Hello all!!  Figured it was time to update my Journal, since I tend to forget about it
But I have quite a bit of news to talk about, so I hope not to bore you


First off, most have probably heard by now that Blizzard does not plan to have a BlizzCon this year. For various reasons or another they have chose to skip this year and hold one in 2013 instead. (You can read about it here: [link])



I'm pretty bummed, I've met some amazing friends being able to attend for 4 years in a row. Especially this last one, made a ton of cosplayer friends and I'm just sad I don't get to see everyone together
Even though I don't currently play any Blizzard games, doesn't mean BlizzCon wasn't something I looked forward to each and every year.

So I will not be doing another Blizzard Cosplay this year, and instead will focus on some different non-blizz costumes for once
I really plan on attending SDCC and/or PAX this year!! Been wanting to go to both for years and years, SDCC especially! But money crunch with BlizzCon and other various things throughout the years have stopped me from going to SDCC. So I'm super excited to hopefully attend, but unfortunately I haven't the slightest what to Cosplay as

I'll post a poll, but I'd love to hear if anyone has any ideas or suggestions!! I'm not opposed to anything, just try and limit the bikini wearing characters rofl. I don't have the confidence or body to wear something like that, YET!!



Secondly,  I decided to do something super exciting! I purchased an Artist Alley table at a brand new local Con called Anime Salt Lake, its March 2nd-3rd at the SLCC campus on Redwood RD (for any local Utahans)
I figured it would be a great trial run, especially for my a lot of my other crafts

Many of you might not know, but I do custom Comic Shoes and soon to be Comic Jewelry!!
I don't post them on DA, but that will change. I have made one pair, originally for myself, but am making 4 more sample pairs that will be for sale despite them being samples of what I can do.
So I will post pics when I am done with all of them, I have 4 womens and 1 mens that I will be showcasing.

I also will have keychains, pendants, earrings, and bracelets for sale at my booth! Along with special prints of my art, and will be doing cheap live sketches




Thirdly, the month of February is going to be a very busy one but very awesome!!
I get to go see my best friend again this year, whom I met here on dA,
I get to stay with her and her husband again for a week, and also get to go to MegaCon as well!!

I also get to see my Mum! She'll be flying in, in about a week! Yaaaay! I haven't been able to see her since September!
It's also my Husbands and I's anniversary on the 9th!! This will be our 4th year married and 9 years together total!! I can hardly believe it's been that long! I am so lucky to have him in my life, I love him so
So to celebrate, we're going to Vegas for a few days. Will be fun, haven't been to Vegas for a couple years


So all in all some great news, and very busy month ahead of me!! Hope I didn't bore you through my journal, if so here's the TL;DR version:


TL;DR----BlizzCon cancelled, sad I dont get to see my friends, won't be doing any Blizzard Cosplays this year, instead doing different Cosplays. Got my first Artist Alley Table, will be featuring Comic accessories and shoes for sale, get to see my best friend again, my Mum, and its my anniversary-----
